Welcome!

Hey there, and welcome to the brand new WoriParadise!

For those of you that don’t know yet, WoriParadise is the new version of ForeverLost, which used to be the place where I told the world all my little ramblings on things that I experienced in life. Now with WoriParadise, I want to start my new chapter online, too. I experienced many changes in my life recently, from personal things to work-related things, and a name-change seems to fit this very well.

One of the biggest changes you might notice right away, is that I am no longer writing alone. My wonderfully sweet, smart, funny, geeky, sexy and drop-dead gorgeous way-better-than-me-second-half (Or in short: Girlfriend) Youn-hee said yes when I popped the big question: Youn-hee ya… do you want to….

…write a blog together with me..?

That’s right people! I now have a full-on partner in crime! And so I felt it was more appropriate to use a completely new website for the both of us, with a name that matches us, and not just me.

The (much debated) title ‘Forever Lost’ was a two-word story about me and my life. I’m not sure what I will do with the site at the moment, so for now it’ll act as a pointer to WoriParadise. Which brings me to the name..

What about this name, WoriParadise?

WoriParadise is the name Youn-hee came up with. I asked her to think of a name that she felt matches us both, and this is the result. A sweet combination of languages (Wori being korean, and Paradise.. well, you know), which tells a small story about us. Wori means ‘Our‘, so it reads ‘Our Paradise’. The word Paradise has a special meaning to Youn-hee, but to find out what it is, you’ll have to ask her..

And so I will conclude this first post with a big Welcome all!, and hope that you’ll have an interesting and –above all– fun experience in reading up on our day-to-day randomanities.
