Thirty-five..

With ‘only’ thirty-five days to go before Youn-hee arrives at Schiphol Airport, I feel both happy and sad. You’re getting closer to that magic ‘zero’, which is really awesome. But at the same time, you’re still not there yet which, well, sucks. Of course I shouldn’t complain, but hey, I’m human.. Sue me.

We had a talk about this very subject last night (korean time, it was afternoon for me), and it’s interesting to see how we both feel the same about this all. I can tell you that it’s the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do, and for Youn-hee it’s pretty much the same. Though we are managing pretty well, I’d say, and every 10 days we look back and realize how fast they actually went by.

Now that we’re on 35, it’ll be ‘down hill’ again. Meaning that we passed the 50% mark of these 10 days, which usually means that the next 5 days will go by faster. I’m not sure why, but so far it seems to be like that. Obviously I don’t mind one bit :).

And, together with days like this, time does go by faster. Today I had a pretty busy work day, with two rush jobs that needed to be finished. I hung up the phone around 11pm this evening, which concluded one of the two things. For now. Tomorrow the story continues.

As our vacation is getting closer, I notice that I’m day dreaming more and more. I’m thinking of all the things that I want to do together with Youn-hee, from visiting places to just watching movies together again. It’s interesting to see how excited one can get for even the most simple things. I like it though. I don’t want to loose that feeling, ever.

I think I’ll just let this post end here. It’s pretty much a rambling post,  but then again that’s what my posts usually are like.
