Today I took some time to (finally..) work through the photos I made during the day Youn-hee, my family and yours truly went bowling. You can see them all right here.

I will be going through all the videos we shot soon, but for now I have to wait for my new hard drive to arrive, so I actually have some space to work on!

Today marks the day where Youn-hee and I know each other for exactly 300 days. What seems like such a short period, feels like a lifetime already. In the good way.

Last week, out of the blue, Youn-hee and I were reading through our very first chat messages. We couldn’t help but feel how cute we were together, accompanied by lots of ’awww’ and ’so cute!’ sounds. Looking back, it seems like we both already felt what was going to happen.

Almost 100 days later I packed my bag and went to Korea, to spend a month there again and, obviously, to meet Youn-hee for the first time ever. The spark (or, big-ass lightning) was there from the very first nano-second, and so exactly 100 days after we first met, I asked Youn-hee to be my girlfriend. And, crazy as she is, she said yes :).

Sadly we couldn’t be together (in person) for our 200 days anniversary, but we promised that we would celebrate it a bit later, when we’re both together again. And so, after about 250(-ish) days, Youn-hee and I were together once again. This time, however, we met in The Netherlands.

We celebrated our anniversary (and her birthday mixed into it) by going to Paris for a couple of days. It has always been her dream to go there, so I felt like it was a fitting choice. I do realized (afterwards, as always) that I set the bar pretty darn high by doing this for our 200-days anniversary. Imagine what I have to do for our 10 years anniversary. or 25. Oh dear god have mercy.

We had an amazing time together, and so was the rest of the month we spend together (every day!).

Now we’re here. 300 days later. I’m in The Netherlands, Youn-hee is in Korea. I’m preparing my plans to move to Korea, where I’ll stay for at least a year-or-so. To try out what it’s like to actually live there. Of course moving costs quite a bit (especially if you start with ‘nothing’), so it’ll take a bit to get there. But I feel like I’m getting close. And, to be honest, I can’t wait to be back with her. As much as I like loving someone as much as I love her, it also sucks.. Why? Well..

It’s so d*mn hard to focus on work when you constantly miss her..

Happy anniversary, my Youn-hee. 300 days.. Just ~21.900 more days, then you’ll finally get rid of me. That is, if you don’t believe in life after life…

Sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry! I can’t apologize enough! I’ve been far too busy these days doing all but something, and I completely and utterly neglected our blog! Sorry!

I’m catching up though, so leave your bats, torches and forks (get it?) at home, please!

when i was still in Korea, i always thought this family have warmth so much. via webcam, i could hear mom’s a bit high-tone and cheerful voice. and dad was always funny he always strangled dave~ of course i knew that is for fun !

actually, i was pretty nervous before meet them. i could guess warm atmosphere, and this house looked always loud that was all. but i ‘ve naver live with another people except for my family. and this was my first time that i wasn’t in my home for pretty long time. it’s my first trip.

finally when i was in this house with my first step, i could see couple of cats one of the things that i’m jealous of Dave is ’these cats’ !  anyway, i was still a bit nervous i think ; i just can remember mom’s first say ‘i didn’t clean up, so it would be smelly,and messy ~! ‘ hahaha ~ no.. i’ve notice later, that isn’t possible ! beacause, she is so cleaniness person. even though so many cats are live together, i never feel that messy in this house. when i came back from paris, my room was so clean again ^^;um.. i’m sorry about that !! usually, i’m so messy~ my parents are always complain about that ;

anyway, she is so wise and good mom. sometimes Jansen family’s guys are like a joker (and someone made a video of that!! hahahaha:D). but she always takes that hahaha~ and, i love foods made by her!! it was always nice ~ she always take good care of her family :) my mom was always busy with her work since i was younger, so it was pretty new for me ah! but she can’t make tricks ~ when i went to plant market with her and Dave, Dave wanted buy for me a mosquito curtain secretly. and he tried with her. but when i turned and see my back, she really flustered !! she put that in a bottle fastly, but unfortunatly, at that moment i saw that we had to laugh so hardly beacause of that!!

when i met dad at first he was in starbucks:) he really likes coffee. and cigaret,too. when he doesn’t talk, actually he looks a bit serious and scary but it’s not true. he really is a joyful person ! specially when he is imitating a gay person or talk with british accent with his two sons ~ that made me always laugh so hard :D  he is not easy person, but he really is nice guy~ and he is a good dad.

Roos is really sweet girl:) when i feel a bit nervous or  awkward, she did talk to me :) it was always nice timing ~ so i could feel comfortable again. she is really friendly if i could speak dutch, i think we can be pretty good friend^_^ and, if she come to Korea, my friends and almost everybody would be jealous her ! she really is pretty ~

Gameboy Jeroen~ he was sometimes with dave when we talk via webcam. he doesn’t talk that much. specially in english but when he say somthing, everybody laughed ! hahaha, even though i couldn’t understand, he is funny guy. usually, he said pretty bad joke with Dave. but when he pets cats or his mice, he really looks kind it was always impressive ! and i really like his music taste ~

i don’t know that much about Dennis and Lieneke still, but they are all so nice people:) i really didn’t expected dannis’s family was in the airport. i really appreciate about that ! and, i really wanted to taste lieneke’s cake~ haha~ but it’s ok~ if i can go to holland again, then i want to ask one more ~ is it ok? ^_^

wow, everytime when i write something in english, i feel like i studying something really hardly ; hahahahaha~ i have to find some words in my dictionary pretty often pheww….; but i have a lot of stories of this trip:) it was all special, and nice ! i miss all, and i wish i could stay a bit more..(actually a lot !! until i can understand dutch language, hahaha :D) i miss their garden with sunshine and chairs, and pretty bird sounds every morning, and noisy and loud dinner time… even though i couldn’t understand many conversation, i enjoyed all the time ! and i really appreciate to all of Jansen family ~

last 30days was like a beautiful dream to me. even though like he said, it wasn’t a dream

i would not forget when i saw Amsterdam at the first in the airplane. ‘finally…’ actually, i didn’t sleep that much in the airplane. that was about 3hours. it’s not really that much to me !!

last 1hour in the airplane, i was really excited. i couldn’t wait. i’d keep looking at my mirror. i wanted show the most prettist myself. did I? :D 

my gate’s wayout was pretty far from luggage belt thingy. so i had to walk quite a bit. and finally when i get back my luggage, i couldn’t find last door. i’ve lost way a moment~ yes. i’m Younhee and when i found my exit, they checked my luggage reallly detaily:P it wasn’t good. i wanted go out as soon as possible.

there he is…!! after long wait, finally we were together when he was in Korea at february, he was pretty skinny. but not anymore, he looked gain weight. it’s good, good um, and his smell was different too. anyway, he looked pretty nervous. and came to me really fastly. hahaha~ now i really miss that moment ^^;

and i met his mom and dad actually i was nervous about that situation. and wasn’t bad. they said, ‘you really are here! you looks exatly same in webcam~’ with mom’s laugh sound :)  we talked a bit in the Starbucks, came back to home. to me, it was all first time of course ! in that way, i could see holland’s streets, fields with cows, sheeps my first image about holland is ‘green, flat, peaceful’ -. HOW NICE !!

my new home in about a month… i saw only in webcam. but, i really was there…^_^ and, cats!!! i’ll talk about cats later more:) it’s just about my first day . it was brand new, excited,a bit nervous, and happy .
